Tonto National Forest encompasses almost 3 million acres of rugged country, varying in altitude from 1,300 feet to 7,900 feet. There is over 29,000 acres of lakes in the desert, including Theodore Roosevelt, Apache, Canyon, Saguaro, also Bartlett, and Horseshoe Reservoirs. This is a planimetric recreation map showing Forest Service system roads and trails, and is 1/2″=1 mile scale.
